The Infamous Salt Flats of Bolivia (Part2)
|
The third and fourth days of my tour across the Salt Flats of Bolivia
brought me to wonderful red lakes full of pink flamingos, and of course,
the infamous Salar of Uyuni on July 4th. I had planned to apply body paint
in celebration of our nation's independence, but a touch of food poisoning
and the fact that the Salar is f-ing freezing detered these noble intentions..
